After four months of uncertainty, FlightVector’s NASA has officially announced its return under a new banner. Roblox’s most prominent RoSpace group had its original Roblox group locked in May without explanation. Despite multiple appeals and requests for answers, Roblox Moderation provided no definitive response, leaving them with little to no idea on what happened other than an alleged "sharing of personal info" which is questionable.

Today, they confirmed that a new, temporary group has been created to continue operations while the status of the original account remains unresolved. In a announcement today, their leadership described it as “an intermediary step” emphasising that it was not intended to be a permanent fix, but a practical choice to allow training, development, and launches to resume.

The ban left Ro-NASA's large community uncertain about its future. Now, with the new group, they have confirmed that all of the former plans will continue largely unchanged.

“Moving forward, we will continue where we left off,” the announcement read. “We will continue to refine our Shuttle Carrier Aircraft operations and pursue additional development options such as the Orbiter Processing Facility and additional roleplay elements such as Launch Operations.”

The group said that the Training Operations would remain active and integrated into the new structure.

A larger plan is the construction of a “pseudo Johnson Space Center”. Designed as a public Roblox experience, the facility will allow any member even those not enrolled in training to try out aspects of astronaut and operations training.

Meanwhile, the group’s Kennedy Space Center has been reformatted to function under the new group. Testing is already underway to ensure that facilities, systems, and scripted elements remain stable.

According to the announcement, the first launch under the new group is scheduled for mid September, marking the true operational return of FlightVector's NASA.

For the group, the last four months have been among the most challenging in its history. Losing the original NASA group not only completely halted operations but also resulted in the loss of many assets, scripts, and animations. The creation of a new group, while not ideal, is a step forward.

Whether Roblox will unban the original NASA group remains uncertain. But for now, they appear determined to rebuild, adapt, and expand. FlightVector said back in June, "I don't like not finishing what was started."
